About

The American Legion in Hellertown, Post 397 has become a favorite destination for those seeking great bar service in a relaxed setting. We have a vast assortment of imported and domestic beers as well as a large selection of liquor to make your favorite mixed drinks. Enjoy a drink at the bar while watching your favorite team or just come in for a quick snack. Besides being a comfortable place to socialize with friends, there is a shuffleboard table, pool table, and darts for friendly competition. Of course, we also have a juke box to play your favorite tunes. We sponsor golf outings, motorcycle runs, bingo, and other special events for both our members and the public's enjoyment.

Grand Ballroom and 1st Floor Social Hall

Both halls are great for events either private or public events. Weddings and large gatherings are held in the Grand Ballroom with baby & wedding showers, anniversaries, birthday parties, retirement parties, and similar events are held in the smaller Social hall. The Grand Ballroom is air conditioned and is very spacious with seating for 200. There is a stage and a serving bar. This is where we hold different events but this hall can be rented. The 1st floor Social Hall is air conditioned and can seat up to 80 people. This hall can also be rented. Please contact Shelly at the Legion for all room rental requests and showings.

Coming Events

Please enter with a mask. We will be running at a 50% capacity and will also utilize the side room for patrons. We will have a limited food menu. All green phase restrictions will be posted upon entry to the building and all customers must remain in their seats. No standing will be allowed at the bar. Please come back often to keep informed of any changes in ours or the states bar operating policy.

Happy Hours are from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday thru Wednesday.

Our opening hours will be the same except for the closing times.
